If you need to discuss your results further, contact the surgery to arrange the right follow-up.
Important Notes
Reception cannot give test results over the phone.
For help signing up for the NHS App or SystmOnline, please ask a member of the reception team.
If you don’t have internet access, please contact reception for assistance with confirming your results.
Test results information
Test results (e.g. blood, urine, X-rays) usually arrive at the surgery within 1 to 2 weeks. Some may take longer. Once received, doctors review results within 5 working days. If a result is urgent, the lab will contact the surgery, and a doctor will take action. If you haven’t been contacted, your result is likely not urgent.
