If you want to stop smoking, there are several effective treatments available to help you overcome addiction and manage withdrawal symptoms. These include prescription medications and nicotine replacement therapy (NRT). The best approach will depend on your individual circumstances, such as age, pregnancy, or any medical conditions.
Research shows you are more likely to quit successfully with support from the NHS Stop Smoking Service. You can access this support by visiting your local pharmacy, no appointment with a GP is needed.
